We are pleasantly tired, Carmella and I. We take long walks on the weekend these days, I luxuriate in her company, I can't speak for her. I've no idea how much longer I'll have her. The seizures are less dramatic now that she has medication, but they still frighten me. Wrong word. No more fear. Concern me. Remind me that the average dog life-span is so much less than the average human. So we take long walks. The tiredness is alright, but the pain in my lower back is... distracting.
Marines carry around backpacks full of rocks during basic training, yes? My body should get used to the two laptops eventually. I certainly hope. This is not a pleasurable pain. Why two laptops? IBM has given me one that lets me do my job almost anywhere. But I will not write on it. So I carry the IBM and the PowerBook to work. I try to carry the PB everywhere. I try to write the thoughts as they come. What you see here is probably %25 of my preserved work now; if you bother to look around and see what's really here. But it's all I want to share at the moment.
