I obsess on enlightenment. I think we're all buddhas if we'll make the effort. OK, so it is difficult. But not impossible. I realize not everybody is doing as they please. Whyever not? Not enough money? I have no money and I'm living in a fairly luxurious hi-rise. Of course my communist landlord deserves some credit. Not enough time? I hate to be the one to break this to you, I really do since there are many wiser than I from Chuang Tzu to Ram Dass who have explained this more clearly: there is no time. You have no time. No yesterday, no tomorrow. So defer that gratification at your mortal peril. Forgive me if I sound as though I am trying to sound as if I know what I'm talking about. I do not suffer from said delusion... pretty much. But I TRY to tell the truth. I do wish I had more time to write it. So tell me what you'd pay for.
